We have had a very constructive series of meetings on October and November 2017 to which all Forum residents were invited.  We are currently analysing the results which we will publish in the near future.

1.  Southern Region – Service Improvements

We are delighted that Phil Hutchinson (Head of Strategic Planning) and Jane Cobb (Timetable Consultation Project Manager) for Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) have agreed to come to talk to us about committed and proposed service changes planned for May 2018 onwards.  Phil Hutchinson has been leading the team developing the new timetable and Jane Cobb is leading the public consultation.

This should be a very interesting talk for all members who use the Govia run services, namely Gatwick Express, Southern Region, Great Northern and Thameslink services.  Of particular interest are the proposals for the improvements to the service from Belmont Station and late night services to/from London.

2.  Belmont, South Cheam and South Sutton Neighbourhood Development Forum - Update

Since the Neighbourhood Forum was formally designated last year, we have been making steady progress with formulating the Neighbourhood Plan documentation.

This session will give an update on the latest state of our Plan, give feedback from the recent public consultations meetings and also provide the latest news on what is happening on the old Sutton Hospital site.

All BSCRA members are invited and we would like to invite other residents from within the Forum area to attend.
